Dear Client:
We're now two weeks removed from BbWorld 2009 and I'd like to point you to some recap resources we've put together to share more of the exchange from DC. It was a lively one indeed and I'm still processing all that came my way in many client conversations - welcomes, suggestions, admonishments, encouragements. I hope those of that you joined us came away with a lot of ideas and next steps to process as well. And that those of you who couldn't make the trip have gotten a good sense of the conference from your colleagues and from us. Here are some additional resources in that regard:
Keynote Recording - With help from our partner Echo360, we recorded the Blackboard Keynote in which Michael Chasen, myself, and our newest colleague Kayvon Beykpour of MobilEdu took the stage to talk about what's to come. You can view the recording here . The password is bbkeynote. It includes my first in-person opportunity to introduce myself and talk about how I'll approach serving you.
Old Bb - Project NG Videos - Yes, I donned head gear and some angel wings to take part in the budding keynote tradition at Blackboard of having some fun at our own expense with some spoof ads. There are a couple other cameos of note and our own John Fontaine goes to great lengths to pursue his art. __Check them out here__ .
Best of BbWorld Resources - On the BbWorld website , you'll find a number of post-show resources including links to presentations, community discussion forums, Twitter feeds and photos from the event. Over the next few weeks, we'll also add an Echo360-powered video archive of numerous conference sessions.
Recap thoughts from me - I blogged on a few of my thoughts from my first BbWorld as part of Blackboard, including some reflection on the social media dynamic so strongly in evidence, our client listening sessions and some of the announcements we made like opening up our database schema.
A big thank you again to all our clients and partners who joined us in DC for a really valuable week together. And to all of you who couldn't join us for tuning (and weighing in) remotely.
PS. By now you've received a post-conference survey. It's your candid feedback that helps us plan a better event for all of us. We greatly appreciate you taking a few minutes to share your thoughts.

Cheers,
Ray
